Frames are always steel — the cantilever roller box demands the rigidity — with Sapele mahogany over redwood or white oak as the visible face. Automation is UL325 spec with loop detectors and sensing edges.

Hot dry I-680-corridor summers and expansive clay soils dictate UV-stable finishes and pier-and-footing systems sized for soil movement. Most Walnut Creek work is city-permit only; hillside overlay zones can add design review, which we prepare in-house.
