A sliding gate rolls parallel to the fence line — cantilever (no ground track, our default) or V-track (with a floor rail). It's the answer when a swing leaf would foul a retaining wall, a mature oak, or a steep approach — common in Alamo, where alamo estates sit behind long private drives off danville boulevard, livorna, and stone valley — properties where the gate reads from the street.

Frames are always steel — the cantilever roller box demands the rigidity — with Sapele mahogany over redwood or white oak as the visible face. Automation is UL325 spec with loop detectors and sensing edges.
