Jonathan and his team at Heartwood Gates (aka Fence & Gate Crafters) have created several unique and attractive items our outdoor spaces. We keep coming back with new ideas, and Jonathan has always been willing to design a new challenge. At this point we have 2 fence panels, 2 gates, 3 raised planters, a gazebo, a pagoda (that acts as the pump house for the pond), and a greenhouse. With routine maintenance – reapplying Penofin stain and adjusting hinges/latches – everything has remained functional. We constantly get comments and questions about “who created that?”

I had the best experience with Heartwood Gates. Jon (the owner) was very professional and was great to work with. I had them install a beautiful custom gate for my backyard.
I saw that they also do furniture, they made me the most incredible 10 person table out of sapele mahogany. It is a true statement piece in my house. The wood is so solid and beautiful. They even put extra coats of varnish because I have small children and they ruin everything.
Everyone that comes to my house comments on how beautiful and well made this table is. I’m so glad I made this investment and I recommend Heartwood gates to all my friends.
